It's funny how inspiration often comes in waves. I decided earlier this week that I would start a blog. A friend of mine promptly responded to the idea with the exclamation, "but you don't even update your livejournal." Which, while not completely true is not exactly far from it either. However, I use my livejournal for a very specific point, to update my friends from elsewhere what is going on with my life. With this blog I want to go in a different direction. I don't want to focus on the day to day of my life, but rather the inspiration of my life.
If on a given day I am inspired by a song, I'll comment on the song. If on another day I'm inspired by a new recipe, I'll put up the recipe. Of course, if on another I'm inspired by the sheer stupidity of the Bush administration, well then I'll put up an intensely liberal rant, be forewarned.
I do promise that my inspiration will never try to change anyone's views intentionally. I promise that I will attempt to be entertaining, something I'll probably fail miserably at. And finally I promise that at the end of every post I will come up with an ice cream flavor. Why an ice cream flavor, you may ask? Well it's because I love ice cream, I kind of want to open my own ice cream store someday, and everyone knows that discussing ice cream flavors is the best way to get to know somebody. Some flavors may already exist, some may be intentionally disgusting, and others might just be a stroke of genius. So without further ado, I give you my first ice cream flavor. Chocolate Covered Plum.
